Kevin's Dead Cat

After surgery sliced off an entire tumor and 1/3 of my tongue, plus six weeks of radiation therapy, I've been re-learning how to eat, drink, and talk with my newly re-constructed tongue and coping with side effects. But the cancer came back and I don't know what's going to happen next.

Egad, but you're going downhill fast, aren't you?
One week lapdances and marriage, the next out the door.
Just a quick question then...tell me, when you get a lucid moment, I mean... did getting married change the you-know-what (the sex) for you and James? I've always wondered that. Does love, intense love, letting someone in closed doors, the holy state of marriage, turn love-making into a pure drink of champagne and joy? Tell me that there's magic between the bride and the groom.

Please don't mention your tongue in your reply.

Um... no. The Cancer changed the sex. Marriage intensified our love. Pledging vows aloud to someone in front of every important person in your life really does matter.

Real love doesn't intensify in the bedroom. That pure drink of champagne and joy is felt when you're sharing a secret or saying something funny that nobody laughs at except her. You know... inimacy!!!

You're right, and now I feel awful and shallow.
And you are multi-faceted.
